The global Electronic Health Record (EHR) market is growing dramatically and
has already hit 31.5billionin2018.TosafeguardthesecurityofEHRdataandprivacyofpatients,fine−grainedinformationaccessandsharingmechanismsareessentialforEHRmanagement.ThispaperproposesahybridarchitectureofblockchainandedgenodestofacilitateEHRmanagement.Inthisarchitecture,weutilizeattribute−basedmulti−signature(ABMS)schemetoauthenticateuser′ssignatureswithoutrevealingthesensitiveinformationandmulti−authorityattribute−basedencryption(ABE)schemetoencryptEHRdatawhichisstoredontheedgenode.WedeveloptheblockchainmoduleonHyperledgerFabricplatformandtheABMSmoduleonHyperledgerUrsalibrary.WemeasurethesigningandverifyingtimeoftheABMSschemeunderdifferentsettings,andexperimentwiththeauthenticationeventsandaccessactivitieswhichareloggedastransactionsinblockchain.
