Analyzing phonetic structure of Mandarin using Audacity
Abstract
Mandarin Chinese is the official language in China, Taiwan, and Singapore. It is also the main non-official language spoken predominantly at home in Toronto and Vancouver. This article employs the audio software Audacity and leverages theoretical knowledge to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Mandarin Chinese. The study initiates with an overview of the fundamental principles underlying Mandarin pronunciation, aiming to provide insights into its phonetic structure.
